Chimes Israel
Chimes Israel is a non-profit organization (NGO), established in 1991, dedicated to improving the quality of life and promoting the full inclusion in the community of people with disabilities, including individuals with cognitive, physical, and sensory disabilities, autism, mental health challenges, and more.
The organization develops professional programs and operates a comprehensive continuum of multidisciplinary services and frameworks spanning early childhood through old age across the fields of care, education, rehabilitation, employment, and leisure. These services are grounded in advanced professional practices and tailored to diverse populations across Israeli society.
Chimes Israel operates 25 programs and service frameworks in 13 local authorities, supporting approximately 1,200 individuals and their families. These include rehabilitative daycare centres for toddlers, after-school clubs in special education schools, therapeutic day centres for adults, sheltered workshops, supported employment in the open job market, and a wide range of leisure activities.
The organization strives to enable every person to live a whole life of dignity, independence, and social inclusion by providing practical tools, professional guidance, and ongoing support at every step.
