Dear Friends,
As the year closes, we still find ourselves amid a tough war in the South and now an escalating conflict in the North. This past year has been one of challenge and pain. The war shakes our hearts, and a sense of uncertainty comes with it.
During all the great changes in the world around us, Chimes Israel did not stop for a moment. Out of a deep sense of mission, we continued to provide our vital services and support to the special populations we serve.
Throughout the year, we faced many external and internal challenges. Despite the war-inflicted physical and emotional hardships, our staff continued providing services with dedication and compassion. We chose to invest in them by providing tools and support through a resilience program. The program taught interpersonal communication, stress management techniques, and emergency intervention practices.
Despite everything, we are proud to share that this past year was also one of growth and expansion. We opened a new afterschool club in Ra’anana, “Chimes Agam,” offering leisure, enrichment, and life skills for school children to enjoy a positive, unique and empowering experience during their parents’ working hours.
In the New Year, we hope to continue to stand together to promote an equal, inclusive, and supportive society. Despite the unrest, there is always room for hope and growth. We will always seek additional ways to expand and assist more individuals with disabilities. We will keep fighting for the rights of our service recipients and working in partnership with all stakeholders to ensure they enjoy the highest quality of life.
We wish you a sweet and happy year, filled with light, new opportunities, fruitful collaborations, personal and organizational growth, good health, and only good news.
Shana Tova – may the new year bring hope, love, peace, and quiet.
