We are proud to share a moving story that symbolizes Chimes Israel’s ongoing commitment to promoting and empowering special populations.

In recent years, Chimes Israel’s Vocational College program has become a significant driver of positive change, providing optimal employment opportunities for young people with disabilities. Our vocational college programs enable our clients to develop professional and personal skills for entering the workforce. Successful integration into the workforce fosters a sense of self-worth, economic independence, and social belonging. It also enables people with disabilities to integrate into the community, breaks down social barriers, and helps shift societal perceptions of disabilities.

In addition to our vocational college in collaboration with Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, our new Beit Berl Technological Center vocational college just enjoyed its first graduation. This May, 12 young women with disabilities from the Arab community completed our pioneering program to become kindergarten teaching assistants. The program, in cooperation with the local authorities in Tayibe and Tira and the Ministry of Welfare, included theoretical studies, practical training, and hands-on work with children in kindergartens. The program has opened doors to employment for these women and is empowering their economic independence.
