Legacy Program

Through our Legacy program, we seek to secure for generations a future where individuals with disabilities thrive in an inclusive society, empowered by comprehensive support networks and opportunities for growth. Your legacy gift will help us achieve an enduring future where every individual with a disability can access the specialized care, enrichment, and support they deserve. It will enable us to expand our reach, enhance program offerings, and innovate care delivery — setting new standards in disability support services across Israel.

While the government’s Ministry of Social Affairs funds our organization on a per-client basis, we provide many essentials that are only possible through donations. Donations are the lifeblood of our organization’s innovative offerings, paying for essential items, activities, and programs.

Many of our clients spend most of their waking hours at our centers. It is their whole world. We try to offer them as many varied experiences as possible within our walls, and many outside excursions (which always include the presence of volunteers). These “extras” are essential in helping our people achieve their inherent potential to promote personal development, independence, and community participation.

Donations pay for the construction of recreational facilities including playgrounds and greenhouses, enabling activities such as sports and horticulture therapies. It also funds art, gardening, and music therapy instruction and materials. Philanthropy funds our two vocational colleges for young people with disabilities. It enables essential programs such as in-home parenting education for at-risk families, financial literacy education; health and welfare education; self-advocacy and empowerment workshop to prevent abuse; trauma awareness education; and our post-war resilience workshop. Donations fund therapeutic equipment, most of it essential developmental and habilitation gear.
