Good Deeds Day is an international initiative that began in Israel in 2007, founded by business leader and philanthropist, Shari Arison. On this special day, people worldwide stop their daily routines, open their hearts, and take a moment to do something kind for others. This year, millions of people in Israel and around the world participated in Good Deeds Day, and the individuals in our centers took part in an actual festival of giving.
At our Rosh HaAyin employment center, we joyfully hosted Tribu, a non-profit organization that partners with corporations to build their social action strategy and organize volunteer days. The Tribu team funded and led a vibrant Purim celebration that transformed the entire space. They brought music, a high-energy DJ, cotton candy and popcorn stands, and even festive Purim gift bags—filling the center with color, fun, and smiles.
At the Chimes Enoch after-school center in Tel Aviv, our children also had the opportunity to pay it forward. In a heartwarming activity, volunteer families and Hapoel Tel Aviv football club players joined the children to prepare gift bags and greeting cards for pediatric patients at Sheba Medical Center. A few days later, the children proudly delivered the packages themselves, spreading joy and love to those who needed it most, because our service recipients also have so much to give to the world.
Not to forget our soldiers, our children at the Chimes Oz afterschool center Holon, worked with volunteers from Clalit Health Services to create unique thank you cards for IDF soldiers—a heartfelt gesture of appreciation to those who protect us throughout the year.
Down south in Ashkelon, employees from Cellcom joined staff at the Shaked rehabilitative early childhood center to paint, plant, and refresh the outdoor areas, creating a more pleasant and inviting environment for the children.
Employees from Philips Israel visited our Kfar Saba employment center, working hand in hand with participants (under our therapeutic gardening instructor’s guidance) to refresh and revitalize the therapeutic garden, transforming it into a lush, calming space.
At our Kfar Saba employment center, employees from Philips Israel rolled up their sleeves alongside participants to restore and replant the therapeutic garden, guided by our gardening instructor. Together, they helped transform the space into a calming, green retreat.
Meanwhile, at the Michal rehabilitative early childhood center in Holon, volunteers from CELLO (formerly Cellopark) brightened the building and fences with a fresh coat of paint. As CELLO’s COO, Julian Limor, shared: “It’s truly an honor to contribute on Good Deeds Day and support such an important place.”
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to H&O, Shinua Hevrati (Social Delivery), and Medison Pharma. H&O generously donated adorable little Purim costumes, which Shinua Hevrati helped deliver to our preschoolers. Medison brought joy through musical gift kits that offered moments of creativity, connection, and delight—for both young and old.
When people, companies, and communities come together in kindness, transformation happens. We saw it in every painted wall, planted flower, handmade card, and shared smile.
Generosity isn’t a single moment—it’s momentum. Every act of kindness moves us forward and inspires the next. To everyone who gave their time, resources, and heart, thank you. Your actions made a difference—not just for one day, but for many days to come.
